Do I need to speak Japanese? Many hands-on jobs (construction, factory, cleaning, demolition) do not require fluent Japanese. Basic everyday Japanese is helpful for safety instructions, and some workplaces have foreign staff already. Look for the "Foreigner-friendly" tag on each job.
What visa do I need? You need a valid status of residence that allows work, such as Specified Skilled Worker (Tokutei Ginou), Engineer/Specialist, Long-Term Resident, Permanent Resident, or Spouse of a Japanese national. Students on a student visa can work up to 28 hours per week with permission. Tourist visas do not allow work.
How do I apply? Apply for free from the application button on each job page. The employer will contact you about an interview. Dormitory (company housing), daily pay, and weekly pay options are shown in each job's conditions.
